July

Where has July gone? We have been so busy with youth conference, girls camp, and camping at the cabin that July has slipped by. On the 24th of July everyone in my family was able to be there, it was so nice. While they were there I had everyone dress in camo and we took a family picture. That is the first one since Dustin's mission. We got big tubes and went down a river by Spirit Lake. Our family and Dave and Vicki's family went. Besides all of the bruises from rocks everyone had a good time. Cal and I stayed with Addie so Dustin and Rochelle could go down so we haven't experienced it yet. After the river run we roasted hot dogs over the fire, and had lunch it was a lot of fun. In the mornings the guys went fishing. It wasn't very good this time, I think they caught them all last time. Ha ha. We also went fishing in another river. Cal seen a couple of moose, but no fish in there either. I enjoyed the weekend spending quality time with the family. That is my favorite thing to do!!! Thanks everyone for all that you do. I love you!!!!

Conversations With A Moonflower

I am always feeling overwhelmed with life. I feel like I am always running a hundred miles an hour in every direction possible. That there is no time outs or no time for me. My friend could tell that I was over whelmed one day and she brought this book over for me to read. It is a wonderful book! It lets you know that it is alright to slow down a little and take time for yourself. It is called Conversations With A Moonflower by Christine T. Hall. I like the quote on the front of the book, "Life's most profound lessons are often learned from the most unexpected sources" I recommend this book to everyone to read.
