Mothers Day

For mothers day we had two parties. Jennie's family came down from Idaho the weekend before Mothers Day so we had a dinner. Then on Mother's Day the kids all came over and we had a nice dinner. They spoil me like always. Dustin, Rochelle, and Addie gave me a picture book that they made, Brittany and Brett gave me some beautiful pink flowers and a wooden sign about mothers,Shauntae and Spencer gave me a picture. A lady painted Shauntae in the picture with angels all around her, Devin gave me some beautiful flowers for my yard, and Cal gave me a new bike. I really got spoiled.

Devin had to do a science project for his college class. He had to display it at the Salt Lake County Library, from 1:00-4:00. I asked him what it was about and he told me that I wouldn't understand it if he told me, so I just took a picture. LOL

Mothers Day

For mothers day all of us girls went and got pedicures. Even Addie came and got her toes painted. It was real relaxing until the guy working on me found an ingrown toe nail and started working on it. It was so painful! We left and the next day I couldn't even walk, my toe was so swollen and infected. I went to our neighbor, Mark Elkin's which is a foot doctor and he had to do surgery on it three times. It has been six weeks now and I just started wearing my tennis shoes. I don't wear my church shoes yet it is still real sore and it still keeps bleeding. I wont ever get a pedicure again after this it has taught me a lesson. I am glad it happened to me and not one of my girls I would have felt really bad if it did. Thes pictures are the first surgery and the last surgery.

Trip To Moab

We had our family trip to Moab in April. It was cold, windy, and we even had some hail, but we had a great time spending time with the family. Dustin and Rochelle put Addie in the razor so she could come with us. I drove the razor for the first time up the trails and I was out of my comfort zone. The first trail we went on was Metal Masher!! Addie fell asleep and I was trying to hold her head up, it looked like it was going to fall off. Then I realized I had to have two hands on the wheel going over the big rocks. I don't know why they make razors with four wheels, you are on three wheels most of the time anyway. ha ha

Easter With Addie

Addie had a lot of fun coloring the eggs until she dumped all of the coloring all over her and the chair. It shocked her she didn't know what to do. Cal and I were laughing, but her mom and dad decided to color the rest of the eggs for her.

Preschool Easter

We had a Easter egg hunt for preschool. It was a lot of fun for the children. They love to go outside. They made baskets then found eggs filled with candy to put in them. We also made bunnies made out of balloons. So fun!!
