Womens Conference

On Saturday Sept. 25 Brittany and I went to our Stake Womans service project. Our stake Relief Society planned all kinds of service projects to help in our community as well as other countries. We worked there in the morning putting together baby kits for the humanitarian center, that was our wards assignment. Then they had bagels, yogurt, and fruit for breakfast. That evening I had the opportunity to attend the Womans Conference with all of my girls, Brittany, Shauntae, and Rochelle. We went to the conference center to listen to the talks. When President Monson walked in tears started rolling down my cheeks. It is so amazing how strong the spirit is when the prophet walks in. The talks were so good and reminded us that we need to be better at visiting teaching, more kind, and have more love for everyone. When President Monson left we were watching him wave to the people and all of a sudden he hit one of the missionaries on the head with his papers. It was so funny we couldn't quit laughing. He has a great sense of humor. After conference we went to Chili's for dinner. What a fun girls night out. Thanks for going with me girls. I love you!!!
