My Testimony

I am so grateful that I have the Savior in my life.  I know that he is there everyday to help me with my trials.  I love to pray to him,  he knows what to help me with and what I need to do to be a better person.  I am so grateful that I have a testimony of this Gospel.  I know that Joseph Smith is a true Prophet and that President Monson is also a living Prophet .  I am so grateful that I have such a wonderful family, and such a wonderful husband.  He is so caring, loving, kind, I don't know what I would do with out him.  I am so blessed to have such wonderful children and grandchildren, I pray every day that they can stay close to the church and that their testimonies can keep growing.  I have such a strong testimony of prayer.  I have seen so many prayers answered and also tender mercies.  I want to thank my Heavenly Father for all that I have and for all that he does for me. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

Christmas Eve 2013

We have a tradition on Christmas Eve that we started when the kids were little, and we are still doing it now that they have children.  We went bowling, then we went to Red Robin for lunch.  Followed by a movie called Frozen, it was so cute the kids loved it.  Everyone met back at our house and we played bingo, and opened bingo gifts.  This year we waited for Devin to call us.  It was like waiting for Christmas.  He was able to Skype us.  So fun we got to see him and talk to him!!!  He looks so good and he is doing good adjusting to the Philippines.  Then we had the little ones open their pajamas.  They are so excited for Christmas it is fun to watch their excitement.

Fishing At the Gorge

We has Shauntae, Paisley, Addie, Kolten helping us fish this time.  Paisley wasn't sure of the fish, but she liked to look into the bucket.  Addie and Paisley loved to run around the beach, they could do that all day.

Being a Grandma

I can't imagine life without grandchildren.  They are so much fun.  They bring so much joy into my life.  They are always making me laugh at the cute and silly things that they do.  I feel so blessed to be a Grandma. I want to thank all of my children and their spouses for being such great parents to them.

Christmas trees

It is a family tradition that we cut down fresh Christmas trees the day after Thanksgiving.  We hike up in the mountains at Flaming gorge until we find the right one.  It was really cold this year.  It was a lot different this year without Devin, as he is on his mission.  He usually finds the tallest, most perfect one which takes us a lot longer.  We got a shorter one this year, we are saving the big one for Devin.  ha ha  Dustin stayed back he woke up with the flu. Not fun.  Shauntae and Paisley didn't get a tree they have one at home.  It was nice of them to help us find one.

Bath time fun at cabin

Addie and Kolten were having fun taking baths at the cabin.

Flaming Gorge Fishing

We love to fish at the Gorge.  We go up there as much as we can, it is nice and relaxing.  Here are some pictures of Addie catching all the fish that day.  Kolten was Addie's cheer leader. ha ha

Addie's 3rd Birthday

I can't believe Addie is 3 already.  Time goes by so fast.  We got her a ride on Princess car.  She keeps telling us that she is a princess, she is so funny.  Her mom gave her a princess party.  She gave all of the little girls princess things to wear and take home , they look so cute.  Rochelle went all out.
