Feeding Ducks

One day  I was tending Paityn and Paisley and we needed something to do.  We decided to go feed the ducks.  There is a good place over off of 1300 West and close to 5400 South.  I had my mom and dad go to so they could help with crowd control. ha ha  We stayed there for an hour, the girls could have stayed longer but we finally ran out of bread.  They also liked to feed the pigeons because they would come right up to them.  It was a fun day I'm glad my parents could come with us.

Kolten's 1st Birthday

I can't believe that Kolten is one already.  Time goes by so fast.  Rochelle always decorates so cute and has such cute things for him.  Everything was in blue and green.  He got so many presents it looked like Christmas.  We gave him a little ride on car that he can scoot around on.  He had his one year old picture taken and it was so cute, he looks so grown up. He loved eating his cake, he really dug into it.

June 1, 2014 Shauntae's New Baby

She's here!!  Shauntae had a baby girl June 1, 2014.  Her name is Kaydence.  She was 8lb. 2oz. and 20 inches long.  She has a little curl in her hair and she looks a lot like Paisley.  I love holding her!!  I cant hold her enough.  It is so fun to have a baby in the family again, I know Kolten is only one but it is fun.  Paisley is such a good big sister and lots of help.

Swimming

Aquarium

We went with the family to the new aquarium.  It is so much bigger and nicer than the old one.  The kids loved looking at all of the fish.  The favorite was Nemo.  They found him in a little tiny tank. I treasure all of the times that I get to spend with the family and make memories.  Thanks for letting Dad and I go with you guys.

Botox For Migraines

I have had problems with migraines for over 20 years.  It seems like they have gotten worse in my 40's.  I wake up everyday knowing that I will have a really bad headache or a migraine, and I try to make the best of my day.  My Dr. has tried my on all of the migraine medications and none of them have worked.  Some of them have caused really bad side effects from heart attack symptoms, memory loss, seizures, depression, and others.  I still don't have all of my memory back.  In order to qualify for botox injections you have had to try so many medications and have over 15 migraines a month.  That's me!  This past year they would last 4 days in a row then I would have a little relief  for a couple of days, and then back to the 4 days.  I couldn't even be in the sun at all to do yard work or watch the grandchildren swim. I still went to work and tended grandchildren, and lived a  normal life.  The only thing is I would sleep a lot when I would get home trying to get rid of the pain.  The Dr. had me drink caffeine drinks and it would take the edge off is all.  I found a Dentist that does Botox in his office.  He gave me 27 injections to start out with.  I could feel it start working the next day. WOW!!  What a miracle.  The first week my head kept feeling like it was trying to make a migraine but nothing would come.  After two weeks I got a bad migraine across my forehead.   I  had to go back in since he had not given me any injections across my forehead.  It worked, I had the injections on May 16 and it has been one month now.  Hopefully it will last 3-4 months before I have to go back in.  I feel so much better now and I have so much more energy.  I feel like that is one of my trials in life that I have had to deal with the pain and suffering.   I feel like 50 pounds has been lifted off of my head and I am so much happier.  I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for helping me get better, I know that he was a big help and answered my prayers getting rid of my migraines.  I love him so much!!

Mother's Day Call

It is always so much fun waiting for a missionary to call home for Mothers Day!  Where Devin is he is able to Skype from the Philippines. He is having his struggles, hard times, good times, spiritual experiences, and companion problems.  Life of a missionary, good thing our Heavenly Father is there to help you each day.  We were able to talk to Devin for two hours, it went so fast.  Only one more Mothers Day to go.

Playing with Spencer

The girls love it on Sunday when Shauntae and Spencer come over.  Spencer plays really cute with the girls they love getting piggy back rides.  I don't know how his back holds up but somehow it does.  They never want their rides to end!  They also love to build huts and jump off the furniture.  I think I have little monkeys running around sometimes instead of grandchildren lol.
