Jan 1-9 2016 Trip With The Family

We went on a cruise with all of the family to the Western Caribbean.  What a fun time!!  All of the grandkids stayed home, which all of us missed.  We went on the Carnival Glory ship.  Our first island was Grand Cayman.  Our excursion was called the Island Wildlife Encounter.  That took us to Stingray City and The Turtle Farm.  It was a nice sunny day, 78 degree weather.  Sting Ray City was fun playing with the stingrays and feeding them.  Cal brought his go pro and took some awesome video pictures of everyone.  Then we went to the Turtle farm.  We saw hugh turtles, the biggest weighing 600 pounds. They were used for breeding.  We were able to hold the small ones that were a year old.  Then we went snorkeling and swam with the turtles.  The guys would dive down and hold on to them and they would pull them around.  We also saw beautiful fish a went face to face with a nurse shark that was in a tank.  We had a great time.
