Labor Day Weekend

We love to go to the cabin with the family on Labor Day Weekend.  It seems like everyone thinks this is their last camping trip before winter starts.  Not for us we keep going to the cabin all year.  We love spending time with the family and making new memories.  Sometimes not everyone can come each time because of busy schedules, but we will take what we can get.  We are happy no matter who comes up.  This time everyone was able to come.  The kids love to fish, had fun playing in the sand, and just enjoying the nice weather that we had.  We love going to the parade and filling our bags with candy, while the guys are fishing.  We also helped Grandma make brownies.  Licking the bowl is the BEST!!  We all took turns holding baby Kaydence and gave her baby kisses.  Then Grandpa had a good idea to go four wheeling.  We went buy the lake and went through the swamps.  We all came back covered in mud.  What a fun weekend!!

Davis Luau

On August 18, 2014 we had our annual Davis Luau.  This year we had it at the neighborhood park behind our house.  The Brock Family was in charge of putting it together.  They had a pirate theme which the kids loved.  They got to follow the pirate around the park and find treasures to put in their bags.  And of course breaking open the pinatas!!!

Kaydence's Baby Blessing

August 3, 2014 Kaydence was blessed by her dad.  He gave her a beautiful blessing.  After church we went back to Shauntae and Spencer's house for food.  It is so amazing to see these perfect little babies being blessed that have just come down from Heaven.  I love each one of them so much!!

Philippines

Libon Philippines was without power for a month and a half.  All is back to normal.  It has been a couple of weeks since then and now Devin told us they just got another typhoon.  This one was smaller, they have bad rain and wind.  Everything is flooded again so he is walking in the water and mud again.  Luckily the power is still on.  He was just made district leader and is enjoying his mission.
