Cals New Toy

Cal bought a new razor! Now we can go on four wheeling trips and I wont be so afraid of tipping over. After the last four wheeler tipped over on us and my head was underneath it I have been a little nervous of riding. I can hardly wait to go for a ride.

We Talked To Brittany!

We got our phone call that we have been waiting for. Brittany sounded so good and so happy. She has an 11 hour plane ride and then a 6 hour bus ride to get to Rosario, Argentina. She was told that the dogs like to bite their legs so carry candy with her and throw it at the dogs and they will leave her alone. Her companion was not able to come with her, she has some medical problems. Brittany is the only girl traveling with 5 elders. I told her they will be her body gaurds. She talked to us in Spanish, she is learning the language very well. Saying good bye is so hard for me. I cried like a baby when I got off the phone. This is when you put all of your trust in our Heavenly Father that he will take care of your child when they are so far away. I know she will be protected and taken good care of.

To bad we didn't have our video camera

Sat. Devin had his lacrosse game. It was cold and rained the whole game. I was sitting on the sideline holding my umbrella and the lacrosse ball came toward me. I was waiting for the impact of the ball and all of a sudden I was tackled by two of the players. It was like slow motion I was knocked over backwards in my chair. I was laying on my back and still holding my umbrella. I just started laughing thinking of how funny it must of looked. It was quite entertaining to the players and the crowd. Devin won his game 7-4 to a real hard team.

A Heart Like His

A Heart Like His is a very good book that we are reading for our enrichment for a book review. I never take time to read but I sat down and read this book in one night. It is about making space for God's love in your life. It shows you how to open your heart, feel the love of God and extend that love to others. When I read this book it made me want to be a better person and be more like our Heavenly Father.

2 Months Down 16 To Go

It is like waiting for Christmas. Brittany gets to call home on Monday. She will be leaving the MTC and heading out for Argentina. We are so excited to get to talk to her. Some days her mission is going fast but a lot of times it is going slow.

Showing some of the fish at Flaming Gorge

Cal wanted to catch a big fish so he put on this big lure. A 5 pound mack hooked onto it. It was so funny , it looked like it was choking on the lure.

Easter Weekend

We went to Flaming Gorge for Easter weekend. It was so much fun. We took Cal's little fishing boat out and went fishing for macks. The guys even let me and Rochelle go fishing with them. It was in the low 30's still a little bit chilly.

Bring Spring Inside

This is a fun way to bring spring inside. Put tulip bulbs in a jar of water and watch them grow. Just keep the roots covered with water. Then you can plant them in your yard for next year.
