Josheph and Hyrum Smith
When Joseph and Hyrum were killed, they were covered with branches,in a wagon to shade them from the hot summer sun. This was on June 28, 1844. Josheph and Hyrum were buried in secret in the basement of the Nauvoo House so that those who wanted to collect a reward offered for Joseph's head could not find the remains. Later on their mother moved them to a little house and buried them under the floor boards for safety. Now they are buried in Naunoo.
